"They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."

Sometimes trying to encourage women who have unsaved husbands, I share the testimony of how my mom waited years for my dad to come to Christ. I tell them, "Do not give up. Keep praying for your husbands. Anoint their pillows and their foreheads, and lay hands on them in prayer while they sleep. Claim them for Christ. God will honor your faith."
Once, after I had said this in a church service, a man came up to me and said, "That works, you know." I asked him what works? He replied, "I am proof that anointing a husband and his pillow while he sleeps works." The man then told me how his wife waited many years for him to come to Christ. Many mornings over the years, he had woken up with an oily forehead because his wife had been anointing him for the Kingdom of God while he slept. Eventually, he came to Christ and never again woke up with oil on his forehead or pillow.
Son of God, this also works with all the members of the family. If you are believing for the salvation of a loved one, do not give up. The Bible promises that our families will be saved if we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Sometimes, it may seem impossible for some people to come to Christ, but remember that nothing is impossible with God.
Please do not focus on how that person acts, nor on the lifestyle that he leads now. Cover your heart with God's love and stand in the gap for that person. Keep believing. Preach to that loved one in love and pray for his salvation. If you have tried everything and nothing seems to work, you have nothing to lose, anoint his pillow and if the person is a heavy sleeper, anoint his forehead as well.
Who knows, maybe one day, after a service, I will hear from one of your loved ones the story of how before he met Christ, he used to wake up with oil on his forehead and his pillow.
